The Ashford Hospital Theatres Project consisted of a complete refurbishment of two old theatres and the installation of a brand new one.

MDN UK Ltd were contracted to run and oversee the electrical side which included managing over a dozen sub-contractors from the data and structured wiring install to the medical pendants and surgeon panels. Due to being operating theatres we had to install an array of UPS and IPS systems to ensure no power loss during surgery. This made the install much more complicated with duel supplies being run. Furthermore MDN installed all the Building Management System (BMS) wiring that controls the theatres ventilation system to the newly install Air Handling Units (AHU's) on the roof.
